What is anamorphic? Essentially, it’s the Hollywood look - a wide, lean image that creates beautiful stretch in the scene, bright horizontal flares, and gorgeous oval bokeh. Many filmmakers try to fake this look by cropping their videos or adding digital effects, but these end up looking cheap compared to how true anamorphic glass looks. Now these lenses are becoming available to filmmakers of all sorts, and it’s amazing to be able to bring this authentic cinematic look to the wedding world.
